AOYA meets nendo - nendo, the design studio founded by Oki Sato in 2002, has strengthen their presence in various fields of the global design scene.
With nendo's concept 'bring some "!" into your life by design', the n meister series is created by collaboration of nendo and Japanese artisans.

nendo

A design office opened in 2002 by Ooki Sato. The concept is to make people feel "!". With daily life filled with these small "!" slipping in and out of view, nendo wishes to carefully pick them up and return them into easily identifiable parts of everyday life. Those who have been touched by nendo's designs are able to feel more of these "!" little by little. This is nendo's work.

The wrinkle is applied on upper part of the ball-shaped lamp to excel the character of 3D seamless washi. The light through the combined form wrinkle × plain ball is uniquely beautiful.

Washi lamp shade becomes colorful - New developed technique '3D seamless bi-color washi' realizes different colors on both sides of paper. White color on back allows more light going through the lamp to enhance the color on the face and brings more light below.
*3D seamless bi-color washi: 3D seamless washi comes with different colors on front and back sides of one single paper when finished processing.
